Lace up your running shoes and join the Lakewood Sheriff's Station and the Soroptimist International of Lakewood/Long Beach for the annual Lakewood Run!

 

It's an electrifying day of health, fitness, and fun for everyone—all while supporting local law enforcement officers and helping women and girls achieve their dreams.

 

This year, we're Running with Heart and Rocking with Soul! Unleash your inner rockstar, blaze by legendary musical stations, and conquer the race!

Runners and spectators of all ages and levels are welcome. Whether you're aiming for a personal best or just here to rock out — we'll see you at the start line!

5K RUN/WALK

Kick off from the Lakewood Sheriff Station and run or stroll through the city. Pass by Lakewood Mall, Mayfair Park, Gompers School, and more. Perfect for kids and families!

5K RUCK

Rucking is walking with weight on your back, a low-impact exercise based on military training workouts. Bring your own ruck sack and weight—equipment is not provided.

Starting at the Lakewood Sheriff Station, run through the city going past Lakewood Mall, Mayfair Park, Candleverde Park, Del Valle Park and other Lakewood landmarks.
